Savannah Cristina is a singer, songwriter, and spoken word poet from South Florida. Born in Miami, Cristina moved to Fort Lauderdale at the age of six where her music teacher convinced her parents to let her be lead soprano in the school choir. In 2013, Cristina was named “Youth of the Year” by the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County and sang the National Anthem and ballads at fundraisers, galas, and Miami Marlins games. Cristina started writing and performing spoken word poetry her freshman year at Stranahan High School. She soon won Poetry Slams and was invited to perform at local and state events such as the TV series “Brave New Voices.” Cristina released her first single titled “Trust,” in August of 2016, and her first #MOODtape, “Faded” in January, 2017. Currently a third year Political Science major at Florida International University, Cristina released her debut EP in July, 2017.
