Pianist, percussionist, conductor, arranger and educator, MICHAEL LINVILLE is currently the New World Symphony’s Dean of Chamber Music and Fellow Development, programming and coaching chamber music concerts throughout the Symphony’s 35-week season. He is also an Artistic Partner with the Breckenridge Music Festival, and the Artistic Coordinator of the New World Percussion Consort, an ensemble dedicated to the performance of contemporary chamber music that features percussion.

As a soloist, Mr. Linville has performed with the San Francisco Symphony, the New World Symphony, and the Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra. He has also performed with the Honolulu and Pasadena Symphonies, the Florida Orchestra, and the Florida Philharmonic. His playing can be heard on a number of recordings, including New World Jazz, A Night in the Tropics, Orchestral Music of Bernstein and White Mares of the Moon, which Mr. Linville also produced.
