MAJOR JACKSON is the author of six books of poetry, including “Razzle Dazzle: New & Selected Poems” (2023), “The Absurd Man” (2020), “Roll Deep” (2015), “Holding Company” (2010), “Hoops” (2006) and “Leaving Saturn” (2002), which won the Cave Canem Poetry Prize for a first book of poems. He is an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and serves as the Poetry Editor of The Harvard Review.

Sandra Ramos will be exhibiting at the Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown, MA from August 30 to September 29th. Opening reception August 30, 6--10 PM. Ramos is one of the most important Cuban contemporary artists from the 90s Generation. Through a compelling visual dialogue, Ramos has gained an international reputation by expressing her personal relationship to Cuba’s political and social realities. In her work she uses a wide range of materials and techniques such as engraving, painting, video and installation. References to familiar characters from universal literature, history and folklore are found in her art; she uses these wisely to make critical statements related to the context of her life & artwork.
